cries to her husband "Daddy Our Baby's Gone"

This is a slightly non-sensical rant, it comes to you in 4 parts -
1.Courtney Love, 2.Things From My Life, 3.A Feminist Rant, 4.Yoko Ono

You're not to know this but I love the expression 'you're not to know this' and I love Courtney Love. Not in the seemingly trendy way that people are lovin on Courtney, but in a fair-dinkum I-have-been-rocking-out-to-you-since-I-was-a-toddler sort of way.
A week isn't complete if I haven't screeched Miss World or Violet at the top of my lungs.

Things from my life that are meaningless:
Federation Square Melbourne

I have giardia - it is a parasite in my tummy which makes me feel like vomiting all the time (sounds like a euphemism for pregnancy)

Since telling my mother that I've booked my plane tickets to foreign lands 'She's Leaving Home' by the Beatles has been sung a lot

San Francisco in Colour

Why isn't my passport in it's very specific place where it has always lived?!?!? What dastardly creature moves my goods while I sleep?! Naughty Little Passport Hiding In The Crisps. AGAIN!

This picture of Robert Pattinson holding a crocodile is one of the most ridiculous things I have seen for some time

On the last day that I attended my university course I sat in a tutorial on feminism where I was the only person to raise their hand to the question 'who here is a feminist?'
I was amazed that in a class of 25 people, (after having talked about how feminism isn't a dirty word, that it means Gender Equality to many, that boys can be feminists too) that I - in my pink and bows and glitter - was the only person to assign to such beliefs. I'm no radical feminist. There is a lot of that shit that I think is over the top and out of hand, but for fucks sake people

I adore Yoko Ono, I'm not going to go into it right now.
Yoko Ono, ‘Cut Piece’, 1964-5.
“The only game we play together with our children is star-chasing; sadly, not the stars in the sky, but the “STARS” who we think have achieved the standard of the dream image we have imposed on the human race. We cannot trust ourselves anymore, because we know that we are, well…too real. We are forever apologetic for being real. Excuse me for farting, excuse me for making love and smelling like a human being, instead of that odorless celluloid prince and princess image up there on the screen.”
-The Feminization of Society, 1972.

(This makes me cry sometimes)
Yoko first performed Cut Piece in Japan 1964, Paris 2003 was its final performance.
